I found GTDInbox on the luck of a whim months ago, and now can hardly imagine using email without it. GMail reinvented email but you’ve reinvented GMail by growing it’s power as a task management tool! I’ve sent in a donation as well and can’t wait to see the beta release. Thank you!

The new version is brilliant as usual, I’m finding some of the enhancements to be extremely useful… the “Show Conversations/Tasks with Contact(s)” feature is like a “one click conversations” widget on steroids, and probably my favorite new feature right now. Looking forward to see how it develops — thanks for the hard work!

Another idea: Make an option to automatically label; all outsoing (sent) emails as Waiting On. If the conversation is already labelled as Action, that should be deleted and replaced with Waiting On.

There are many emails that I forget to chase up on, and this would automate the process!

Would it be an idea to somehow prompt viewing of the Someday label/folder on a regular basis (I suppose this would actually be a prompt for a weekly review)? I find that even though it is in the dashboard, I never really get round to a weekly review, and a visual prompt would make me do it.

Firstly, keep up the great work. I use GTDInbox religiously everyday and really hope you make your donations target.
I installed 2.1, but had a lot of issues: the worst of which was that my labels banished I’ve reverted back to the current release version.

Hi Andy,

I sent you US$50 via PayPal and am enthusiastically looking forward to using the new version. The more I use GTDInbox, the less I have to rely on other systems for managing my work. You are absolutely right about interpreting emails as either tasks, resources or junk, though I don’t think that badly formatted really describes the problem. Rather, the problem is converting the emails into actionable tasks without creating a separate task management system, which then becomes a chore to manage in itself.
