Gmail’s Showing It’s Entertaining Side…

The most recent fail is a beauty – absolutely nothing I can tell has visibly changed, but they’ve changed 95% of all interface-code behind the scenes. As you can no doubt imagine I was chuckling heartily at this news this morning ;)

I was hoping to have it all fixed up before it affected everyone; but it’s a rather hefty job (pretty much every single part of GTDInbox has been hit).

Hopefully I’ll have it running by tomorrow morning (GMT).

It’s a shame Google doesn’t put your on their internal mailing list, to warn you about these things. You’re a key external Gmail developer and it’s not a small number of people using GTDInbox (right?). If you organise a petition, I’ll sign it. Your response time is nonetheless impressive.
    Cheers,

Dear Google: Is this any way to run an API? ;^)

You’re not alone – a few of my “official” labs features have also stopped working with the latest changes to gmail (Navbar drag and drop for one)

Dear Michael: They don’t have an API and hacks like these are not supported, even in theory cause for termination of your account. Not that I’ve heard of that happening, but that’s full disclosure. :)
