This is not really a complete update, but I know a few of you are waiting on some critical changes, so here goes!
1) It now works with the new Release Candidate 2 of Firefox 3.5.
2) There is a fix to several labels bugs, some of which were causing crashes (although I urge to add, no damage).
3) The UI has been visually tweaked to be slightly easier to read.
Grab it from http://www.gtdinbox.com/3/Another blog post will follow to share our upcoming plans, and expect the next alpha release by the end of the week.

I Just tried to install it on 3.5 rc2 and get an error saying that it isn’t compatible. Any chance on Alpha8.5?
Disabled extension checking through extensions.checkCompatibility and it is working
Thanks Tim (and Dale via email), if you go back to http://www.gtdinbox.com/3/ you should be able to grab 3.0a81 which I believe works.
I didn’t realise Mozilla had released RC3 recently
Hi, I just upgraded to Alpha 8 but it does not load at all, once again. While Alpha7 had some issues (most of all, the Dashboard was not there), I was able to use it.
Can I rollback to Alpha7?
Just discovered that this trick reported by Daniel on alpha7:

@Wibbler – @Andy pointed out above that the GTDInbox only works with ui=2 in the address line, so the workaround for this one is to manually type the numeral 2 in place of the default 1 in the address bar -
eg. https://mail.google.com/mail/?shva=1#inbox or http://mail.google.com/mail/?ui=1#inbox
becomes
https://mail.google.com/mail/?shva=2#inbox or http://mail.google.com/mail/?ui=2#inbox.
After you type the address, press enter and you should be fine.
**
works for Alpha8, too.
Howevere the dashboard is not still there…

Ste – You can, just download it direct from,
http://www.gtdinbox.com/gtdinbox_3-0a7.xpi
Can you drop me an email to help me diagnose where the problem is?
In fact Ste,
Can you go to http://productivefirefox.com/2009/06/09/gtdinbox-failing-to-load-can-you-help/ and follow the instructions there?
It would help a lot!
You can reach me via andy [at] gtdinbox.com
Running it on 3.0.1.1 on two computers and it is running perfectly. Everything looks great; can’t wait to see how this continues to progress. The Dashboard is now saving a great deal of time. This is the most “productive” version yet!
Thanks
For the last couple of updates to this add-on, everything’s been working fine, except for the Dashboard. When I click on the Dashboard link, the pop-up window comes up, displaying only the following message:
“There is no information to show.
Please ensure your labels are configured correctly for use with GTDInbox.”
My labels are configured properly. They were configured automatically from previous versions of the add-on. Everything else seems to be working fine.
I noticed someone else above mention that their dashboard also is not appearing. Anybody have any idea what the problem might be? Are there conflicts with other add-ons, such as Better Gmail 2, or Remember The Milk?
Hi Michael,
What prefixes are you using for Statuses? Is it the default S/ (e.g. S/Action)?
As GTDInbox 3.0 does not have a Preference dialog (coming very very soon!), it cannot cope with non-standard label prefixes and default names.
If you are using regular Status labels, shoot me an email and we’ll dig deeper.
Andy,
Thanks – I now realize what happened. I had rename my Statuses to match those created by the GTD add-in for Outlook that I bought (e.g., S/@Action, S/@Next Action, @Waiting For, etc.).
I’ve renamed those to S/Action, S/Next Action, S/Waiting On and now see them in the Dashboard.
What are all the standard names for the statuses? Is there a standard name for the Someday folder? Right now I have S/Someday. Is that correct?
Thanks again!
Hi Michael,
The ones recognised by default are,
S/Next Action
S/Action
S/Waiting On
S/Some Day
Weird fact. From my laptop (Macbook, OS-X 10.4, Firefox 3.5 RC3) I get the
“There is no information to show.
Please ensure your labels are configured correctly for use with GTDInbox.”
message as Michael does. From my office computer (Linux, Firefox 3.5 RC3) everything works perfectly. Labels are of course the same in both cases (same gmail account). Tried uninstalling and reinstalling on laptop but didn’t help.
Ahhhh!!! Gmail changed their labels and now I have a HUGE list of my labels cause it isn’t grouping them anymore.
HELP!
