I am also having this problem with the current Alpha release, where the GTD options do not load until view is changed. Please feel free to contact me directly to work on troubleshooting.

Andy, thanks for your great effort!
I noticed a problem in “Preview in Popup”:
In the popup window, the message’s titles in Chinese characters (UTF-8 encoding) always turns to unrecognized ones, while the message body remains correct.

Thank you for this fantastic piece of software. I know you get no advanced warning when GMail changes, so it’s particularly impressive that you can keep GTDInbox going so effectively. It has dramatically improved the way I work and I can’t thank you enough for that. I look forward to some Pro options so I can support your work financially.

Today “Compose Personal” became plain text, not a link. I tried updating to 3.0a18 (I think I was on a14 before that), no change.

The text is unformatted (black, default font) and appears UNDER the “recent labels” UI area, just above “contacts”.
