Hi guys,
GTDInbox 3.0.12 is ready for both Free and Plus customers. It’s a straightforward bug fixing release.
Everyone can get it now from http://www.gtdinbox.com/gettingstarted.htm
It includes:
* Fix problem where GTDInbox sometimes cannot load in Gmail/Firefox
* Re-added ‘Finish’ button to Free
* Refined handling of Multiple Inboxes
* Increased robustness of pre-labeling
There’s still lots more to clear out on the bug list, but we’re releasing in small increments to get the improvements to you as fast as possible.
On a side note, I’d like to briefly mention why – and apologize for – the fact we weren’t as fast as we’d like to be getting these bug fixes prepared. We simply had a “triple whammy” of trouble – getting Plus ready (which behind the scenes involves some big modifications), multiple major Gmail changes (including one that presented a real hurdle) and my own struggle with salmonella. I’m nearly back to full strength now and will be back in action on both development and support emails over the coming days – of course Peyton will be continuing to do a great job as he has been for the last month or so.
Expect another small set of updates before the week is done!
Best,
Andy

Does GTDinbox work in offline mode (using Google gears)?
thanks
Hi Gilberto,
The Offline mode is actually quite restricted, and as such, we have to temporarily disable features when you are actually offline (“Unstable Connection” as Gmail calls it).
But generally having offline mode enabled should not be a problem. If you do spot any issues, please let us know – support@gtdinbox.com

Hey,
As far as I’m concerned this is a killer for GTDInbox.
I use my Gmail account offline about half of the time, so if none of the features are there when I’m on a train or plane then there is little point in developing a dependence on them – shame!
Hope that Google sort this out soon, as GTD is otherwise fantastic!
Hi James,
The key features remain in tact (e.g. GTD labeling), and of course, with Gmail you can still search on your Status and Project labels even on mobile/offline. So for following your workflow it will continue to work. It’s really the sidebar and pre-labeling that is lost in Offline.
Shoot, tough luck with salmonella but the positive part is that you’re better now! Looking forward to all the new stuff with GTDinbox; it’s been running fine now both on my XP and Vista systems – just the Netbook (XP) has been problematic. Will upgrade now.
Still not loading on older versions of FF (3.0.17). I’m forced to drop back to the 3.0.a26 version, which unfortunately does not work properly.
Here is the error message of the new version (the same as for 3.0.11):
Error: not well-formed

Davide,
Did you get the 3.0.13 update? Please try it and let us know if it will load.
Best,
Peyton Stafford
Hi Peyton,
unfortunately still not working (the number of errors increased).
The problem is the FF version used.
