Where we make ActiveInbox with you

Did your HAB sneak off? Update ready for you…

Ok, I have a big bite of humble pie – 4.0.2.16 had a glitch in the calendar that affected some Plus users. Initially I thought we’d had unfortunate timing with a Gmail change, but – and it’s no excuse! – it turns out that because I was rushing to get it uploaded before I left the country on Friday, I didn’t spot the problem before it was too late. This is one of the things that Andrea’s new stability & testing system will instantly detect, so once it goes live in two weeks we won’t just be relying on me and me alone!

4.0.2.17 is now up and live at http://www.activeinboxhq.com/install.php.

Back to normal , Thanks Andy.
Please create a video every time you make a new release. The reason being you might be bringing ease to user by reducing the mouse movements and keystrokes through your improvements, But since many people like me fall back in the groove of old habits, we tend to use new release with old behaviors of working. For example the “move nexter” button I might not be using (not that I don’t want to use it) , I would tend to move to my next email using old habit of moving to next mail. So show me video of how an ideal AIB user would use it.

    Hi Andy,
since the previous blog entry had so many comments, I refer to it here:You wrote: `I’ve just fixed the “Move Nexter” buttons (next to Archive/Finish/etc.), so they will be ready to swiftly glide through your email again.´These would even be much more attractive if they were all permanently on the screen — not just after I move the mouse pointer over the “[Archive | > ]” button. (I’d love to keep clicking the [Delete|>] button time and again without even moving the mouse…)
There used to be an AIB side bar to the *right* in the view that shows me that full conversation text. There it had all those “nexter” buttons permanently visible. Would it be possible to revive that?Alternatively, how about *Kebyoard shortcuts*? Would they be technically possible, coexisting with GMails default and user-defined shortcuts?Thank you for considering!Jochen

I’m all good too – thanks.

Is the calendar feature fixed for Plus users, or does this need to wait for a couple of weeks? I’ve installed .17 in both Firefox and Chrome, logged on my Plus account, but cannot find the calendar.
